Intro
Namaste from Banana; “Nepal Wind” is a journey full of emotions that introduces you to the highest mountains on the planet through trekking.
We will guide you to the Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m). This is an 8,091-meter mountain whose colossal size we will be able to admire up close. It is a high-altitude trek that, although it requires a minimum physical and mental condition, we consider perfect for beginners.
With a total of 9 days of activity, you will experience different mountain landscapes and the daily life of small, humble villages prepared to welcome us throughout the adventure.
We support the local economy by forming a national team (guide and porters), creating an adventurous group atmosphere where everyone helps each other and no one is left behind.
Once our trekking route is completed, we continue our exploration by heading south of the country to enter the Asian jungle—a National Park where we will venture in with the chance to observe, in their natural habitat: rhinoceroses, various bird species, bears, and the magnificent Bengal tiger.
We will end this unforgettable expedition in the capital, Kathmandu, immersing ourselves in the country’s culture, shopping for souvenirs, and visiting its most iconic temples.
We bring you the opportunity to experience a different and complete Nepal, infused with the unique BANANA essence that sets us apart.

Expedition
In 17 days / 16 nights, we will discover the very best of this beautiful country. This is not only a specialized trekking expedition, but also an immersion into the Asian jungle to experience the wildest and most authentic side of this natural sanctuary.
We will form a small, close-knit group, with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 adventurers.
After landing in the capital, Kathmandu, we will be taken to our hotel, where we can rest comfortably after the journey.
The next day, we will take a domestic flight to the beautiful mountain city of Pokhara, the starting point of our trekking adventure to Annapurna Base Camp.
A total of 9 days of trekking, which—with a minimum level of preparation—is ideal for venturing into one of the world’s greatest mountain expeditions.
Accompanied by a local guide and a BANANA mountain guide, we will gradually gain altitude while enjoying the incredible landscapes the Himalayas offer. We will make stops in different villages to acclimatize, always following the philosophy that no one is ever left behind.
Once the trek is completed, we will enjoy 1 free day in Pokhara.
After this incredible mountain experience—and with a united team—we will head south to Chitwan, where we will spend 3 days enjoying safari and activities.
We will end this unforgettable expedition by taking a domestic flight back to Kathmandu, where we will have 1 free day to visit its most iconic monuments, shop for souvenirs, and immerse ourselves in the daily life of this vibrant Asian capital.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is Banana Nature and who are its “professional guides”?
We are travel coordinators specialized in outdoor adventure sports.
What sets us apart is that our guides hold the official international certifications required for each activity. This allows us to provide expert advice on everything you sign up for, adding an extra layer of safety, experience, and insight.
All the destinations we offer are places we’ve personally explored. That means you can relax and focus on what really matters: making the most of every experience.
Do I need any prior experience to take part in the adventure activities like scuba diving, canyoning, rafting, trekking, or via ferratas?
No prior experience is required — all our activities are designed for beginner level. However, you will need a basic level of physical and mental readiness.
That’s why our professional guides will reach out to you a few months before the trip to understand your starting point and confirm whether you’re a good fit for the Expedition.
What’s the difference between an “Expedition” and a “Custom Trip”?
The difference is that Expeditions are group trips organized by us and led by an official Banana Nature guide.
In contrast, a Custom Trip is planned entirely for you — you travel on your own, with whoever you choose, and on the dates that work best for you. There’s no Banana Nature guide accompanying you in person.
Both options are based on the destinations listed in our “Destinations” section, which serve as the foundation for your adventure.
What is the Preparation phase, and is it mandatory?
No, it’s not mandatory. It always depends on the destination you choose. We’ll get in touch with you to learn more about you — your physical condition and any prior experience.
Together, we’ll assess your needs and, with the help of our professional team, create a personalized preparation plan to ensure a complete and safe experience — if you decide to go ahead with it.
If I book an Expedition, can I cancel it later and get my money back?
Once you sign up for an Expedition, you’ll need to follow the booking conditions outlined here.
Canceling your participation 3 months in advance is not the same as doing it 5 days before — different terms will apply depending on the timing.
If the minimum group size isn’t reached, will I get my deposit back?
Yes, if the cancellation is due to not reaching the minimum number of participants, the company reserves the right to cancel the trip and will fully refund the amount paid by the customer.
Do I need vaccines? Any specific gear? What about the visa process?
All these kinds of questions and logistical details will be handled together with your guide and the rest of the group once the Expedition is confirmed and you start preparing for the adventure.
There’s no need to worry about any of this right now.
